Johnston County Department of Social Services
The goal of this article is to educate Johnston County NC non-custodial families on why we believe the Johnston County Department of Social Services has a large incentive to deal very harshly with fathers, step-mothers, paternal grandmothers, paternal aunts and uncles, and other family members. Conversely, we will show why this social services agency typically deals with custodial parents (usually the mother in NC) lightly and works with them through services at the agency. If as a non-custodial family member in Johnston County NC you have experienced this first hand, we ask that you review our GOALS and join our MAILING LIST. We also ask that you routinely share this article on the Johnston County Department of Social Services with other families across NC and in Johnston County on sites like Twitter, Facebook, and Linkedin because we believe this issue touches the lives of many people daily. In the vein of fairness, NC Fathers will accept any rebuttal from staff and administrators at the Johnston County Dept of Social Services and post that response verbatim for our 1900+ daily readers.
NC Fathers invites all readers, especially those at Social Services to click on the RED and BLUE graphic below to get a long list of dangerous issues that NC Legislators, Judges, and Social Services agencies force Johnston County NC non-custodial families to live with daily. And, we ask that you pay special attention to funding derived FROM non-custodial families via the links to the Social Security Act, Title IV, Part D, Section 458 and Domestic Violence.
Johnston County Department of Social Services, Child Support Enforcement, and Domestic Violence
Via the Social Security Act, the Johnston County Department of Social Services gets ONE dollar in REVENUE for every ONE dollar collected in child support, that they can then use to replenish Welfare and Low Income Assistance Programs. This means that for every Father paying $400 a month in child support, $800 is cleared for use at Social Services. While this may not seem bad, it is worthy to note that the State of NC really needs this money especially in tough economic times to pay for the staggering amounts of people who are on Welfare. In essence, the State of NC and NC County Social Services agencies NEEDS you to stay non-custodial, not having shared parenting, and hopefully spending as less overnights per week with your kids so that you pay more one dollars into the system that runs the programs they deliver. Are you happy knowing that your alienated, refusal of equal parentage and access to your kids is helping Welfare recipients have an easier time raising theirs?
What the Johnston County Department of Social Services, Judges, and Legislators are not telling people is that Domestic Violence is not just a MALE on FEMALE issue. Now that statistics are being counted for ALL intimate partner abuse, newer figures show that WOMEN hit MEN just as much WOMEN hit WOMEN in LGBT relationships. However, the NC Domestic Violence Coalition hates these figures because for Decades they have secured billions in funding for women oriented initiatives on the bad data that women never use intimidation, control, and anger on men. Social Services agencies all across NC benefit from MALE on FEMALE violence by way of increased funding, and our concern is that social services turns mutual combat and low evidenced based allegations into real statistics so that they can get increased funding. As a non-custodial step-mother, paternal grandmother, or sister of a father, have you had any experience where a custodial mother got a LOT of attention and resources from just saying an allegation, and for how long were you alienated from your grandchildren/nieces/nephews because of it?
Johnston County Department of Social Services Immunity
The Johnston County Department of Social Services has 100%, complete, and authoritative immunity for ANY illegal, bias, or discriminatory acts they force upon Johnston County NC non-custodial families. NC Fathers believes this opens a huge door for abuse, especially given that funding is in the picture. Social Services should be strengthening BOTH parents when problems occurs, not just looking out for the parent that receives child support and thus services from the agency.
As a Johnston County NC non-custodial FAMILY, we sincerely hope you will join our MAILING LIST, and share this article on the Johnston County Department of Social Services with other families on Twitter and Facebook so that this message can receive greater attention.
