NC Fathers Rights

NC Fathers Rights

This blog exists to remind all non-custodial fathers and their extended families that the rights of NC Fathers is not forgotten in the NC Family Courts and with politicians who have forgotten you. If you are a NC father OR any member of the paternal family who is concerned about the rights of fathers to have equal and shared parenting with their children then we encourage you to join our FACEBOOK PAGE and become an active and participative member with this great organization. Our organization is hard at work each and every day to make sure all NC fathers and their rights as fathers are represented in the legislature and in the courts.

NC Fathers Rights

However, keep in mind that our organization is not primarily an agency working for NC Fathers. Their belief is that women of paternity are equally hurt by the divisive family courts and policies that also alienate them from their grandchildren, step-children, and nieces and nephews. Additionally, we believe that women of paternity have the greatest impact on stifling the womens rights groups that hold legislators and judges hostage; we honestly believe that NC Fathers Rights will be achieved once non-custodial families realize that they make up greater than 60% of the population in NC and have a tremendous impact on stopping the abuses we as NC fathers face.

NC Fathers Rights can be achieved with your help

Again, the ONLY way that NC Fathers Rights will be achieved is if non-custodial fathers and their extended families start talking with other non-custodial families and get them mobilized and unified. Once this happens, politicians and judges across NC will have to face this very important family issue that is alienating paternal family members from NC’s children.

If you need more information about initiatives taking place in NC that are committed to protecting NC Fathers Rights and the rights of paternal family members to have equal access to children that want and need to be in their lives please contact us.

If you are a father in NC concerned about your rights, equal parentage, and equal access to your children then we encourage you to join and stay active with our organization daily. Additionally, we welcome the many women in paternal families to join and collaborate with us as well because you get equally hurt in this process too. NC Fathers welcomes any fathers in Charlotte NC (Mecklenburg County), Wilmington NC (New Hanover County), Asheville NC (Buncombe County), Raleigh NC (Wake County), Greensboro NC (Guilford County), and any military Fathers at Camp Lejeune, Fort Bragg, Pope Air Force Base, and Cherry Point to contact us today and learn how you can be an important part of this process.

NC Fathers Rights and Politicians

Each day our group of bloggers are hard at work on Twitter and Facebook asking political candidates and others why they are not addressing the hugely divisive nature of the Family Courts in regards to child support, visitation, and custody. We ask that you join us on Twitter and help spread our message with others families. Social Media is having a great impact on other issues and we strongly believe it can have an equal impact on NC Fathers Rights and the issues those in our families face as well.

In NC, non-custodial fathers make up 42% of the voting population and the paternal extended family make up about 84% of the voting public. If you are tired of the systematic alienation of your children from you compared to maternal families, we beg you to use this united power to effect elections and how judges and legislators deal with you. No politician can deny 84% of voters. PLEASE join our MAILING LIST and allow us to help your desire to see equal NC Fathers Rights become a reality in the NC legislature and with judges across the state.

NC Fathers asks that you extensively share this article on NC Fathers Rights with others on sites like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, and other networks to help gain momentum on these important issues.

  9. Michael Goetz has petitioned the NC Supreme Court to hear his Father’s Right case based on the U S Constitution. “I believe the basic custody agreement violates the 14th amendment (equal protection under the law), and effectively makes me a second class parent” says Mr Goetz. “I can’t be a dad just every other weekend; no more than I can have my FREE SPEECH limited like this …without violating the 1st amendment.” This case could change everything for parents. NC RULES OF APPELLATE PROCEDURE – ART III RULE 14 (A) (B-2)

TO THE HONORABLE SUPREME COURT OF NORTH CAROLINA:

Plaintiff Michael Goetz, Sr. hereby appeals to the Supreme

Court of North Carolina from the judgment of the NC Court of

Appeals issued on 3 December 2013 with dissent by Judge Robert

    N. Hunter Jr.; concurred by Judge Robert C. Hunter and Judge Ann

The Plaintiff presents the following for appellate review:

    I. Whether the NC COA panel erred in affirming the trial courts decision to deny the Defendant’s motion for Summary Judgment (02cvd2130) on U S Constitutional grounds?

II. What rights, if any, does the Defendant have to be a Father/Parent?

III. Does the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution protect parents against court orders that unduly limit their rights/responsibilities ?

IIII. Can the NC Supreme Court declare a custody order un-Constitutional and set legal precedent that allows other parents to use as a judicial tool in the fight to be a parent?
