Craven County Department of Social Services

Craven County NC Department of Social ServicesThis article on the Craven County Department of Social Services in NC explores whether the agency is bias when dealing with Craven County Non-Custodial Families. NC Fathers is an organization building a mega MAILING LIST of Non-Custodial Families in North Carolina who we believe historically are dealt with very harshly in the NC Family Courts and with County Social Services agencies. Our goal is to get Non-Custodial Families in NC to realize their great numbers and thus influence over Judges, Legislators, and Social Services Administrators at election time. Please consider joining our mailing list and sharing this article with other Craven County NC non-custodial families on your favorite social networking sites to help gain awareness and help us level the playing field when you or others deal with the Craven County Department of Social Services system.

Craven County Department of Social Services Protection, and NC Non-Custodial Family Statistics

What many Craven County Non-Custodial families do not realize is that the Craven County NC Department of Social Services has complete immunity when dealing with residents. If they make a decision that is wrong, or they go as far as harassing someone or even breaking the law, legislative statutes give them protection from being sued. As we will discuss briefly, we believe this immunity is tied in with their funding sources and helps protect money they receive from the State of NC and the Federal Government. It is also necessary to point out that most, if not all, of the CPS case workers do not have certifications from state licensing agencies where they can be held responsible for their incorrect actions. NC Fathers believes this 100% immunity is very dangerous for Craven County Non-Custodial families who the Craven County NC Department of Social Services needs in order to receive funding for programs.

Given the divorce rate, Craven County NC Non-Custodial Fathers make up 42% of the voting population. When you add in just ONE extended paternal family member this figure jumps to well over 84% of the voting population. This is a very significant and overwhelming figure that no Judge, Legislator, or even the Craven County NC Department of Social Services can ignore or deny as being very influential. Again, it is VITALLY important that NC Non-Custodial families unite and come together to form a lobby that acts on behalf of these families so that the before-mentioned individuals do not rubber stamp laws and other legislative efforts that come before them from other lobby organizations that have secured the current policies and procedures at the Craven County NC Department of Social Services.

Craven County Department of Social Services, NC Domestic Violence, and Child Support Enforcement

The Craven County NC Department of Social Services needs domestic abusers to continue to receive federal and state funding. In NC, there is a very powerful and influential Domestic Violence lobby who talks with Judges and Legislators daily and the Federal Government gives hundreds of millions of dollars per year to fight this problem. The problem here is that the lobby groups are 100% focused on male on female violence instead of NC Domestic Violence as a whole despite new statistics that show women hit and control with aggression just as much as men, and that false allegations are becoming rampant in the legal system. Because of the money and influence of this lobby, Judges and Prosecutors hand out restraining orders like candy even when there is no evidence of violence to appease the lobby organizations who DO affect elections. We also believe that Craven County NC Department of Social Services administrators who keep an eye on money and who make policies and procedures at the agency are aware of this and men (fathers) become a target. In these cases, it is up to the females in the non-custodial family to speak out on this issue of false domestic violence that hopeful custodial mothers use as a tactical advantage in divorce and child custody matters.

Like Domestic Violence, NC Child Support Enforcement which is controlled by the Craven County NC Department of Social Services receiving an astonishing amount of federal and state funding on the backs of Non-Custodial Families in Craven County. Do your research on the SOCIAL SECURITY ACT TITLE IV PART D and read all the sections of this legislation, especially the section about Incentive Payments to states for INCREASED collection of child support. We STRONGLY believe that it is this mega funding that prevents Craven County fathers and non-custodial families from getting equal access and visitation with their children so that collection and funding can be maximized. Additionally, like Domestic Violence, the Craven County NC Department of Social Services needs “Deadbeat” fathers in order to continue receiving federal money for low assistance programs at the agency.
