Judge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch – Guilford County NC Family Court

Judge Angela Foster and Susan BurchJudge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch are both Guilford County NC Judges in the District Court and Family Court who rule in child custody and child support enforcement cases. NC Fathers is a grassroots state organization seeking to get every single NC non-custodial family on our MAILING LIST so that we can educate you on how Judges across NC historically favor a very divisive system that ultimately ends up alienating these families from their children. Additionally, we ask that Guilford County NC non-custodial families extensively share this article on Judge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch with other non-custodial families in Guilford County to help gain awareness and momentum on the issues we are about to outline. NC Fathers believes that once non-custodial fathers, paternal grandmothers, step-mothers, paternal aunts and uncles, and all non-custodial family members and friends come together and start voting on these issues then the system will correct itself to be more equal so that these families have equal parentage and equal access to their children without Judicial and Legislative interference that unfortunately generates a lot of revenue for social services program and special interest groups on the back of the Guilford County non-custodial family. As always, we welcome insight and rebuttal from Judge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch.

Judge Angela Foster, Judge Susan Burch, and the Guilford County NC Family Courts

NC Fathers hopes that Judge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch will at least acknowledge that the Guilford County NC Family Courts are very divisive and pits two parents against each other to win custody and other resources that comes with being a custodial parent.  One the other side of this aisle, we hope both Judges realize that the non-custodial father AND all members of their families are generally marginalized to visitor roles without equal parentage, equal access, and equal ability to nurture and care for their minor children. If Judge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch disagree, that is fine. What IS important is that we KNOW Guilford County NC non-custodial families from all socioeconomic, racial, and genders DO recognize the problems and have had enough.

NC Fathers argues that we cannot see how Judges Foster and Burch do not recognize the following:

  • The custodial vs. non-custodial legal roles are very divisive and the dichotomy begins 18 years of fighting and rich lawyers that ultimately harms children.
  • Judge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch cannot argue that custodial mothers get free child support enforcement attorneys each time alleged incidents happen, while non-custodial families have to spend $5000 retainers PER INCIDENT to get equal representation.
  • Despite NO presumption for custody, Judges Burch and Foster have to be aware that the AOC’s own statistics show mothers receive custody 85% of the time. 85% sure sounds like presumption to us.
  • Judge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch cannot argue that when non-custodial fathers get into financial difficulty, they are imprisoned if unable to pay child support, while custodial mothers receive financial, educational, housing, medical assistance, tax credits, and more.
  • Why are custodial mothers routinely allowed to move children hundreds of miles away from fathers, paternal grandmothers, step-mothers, paternal aunts and uncles, and step-siblings while the State of NC is talking about a fatherless and inactive father problem?
  • Why is the State of NC receiving $2 for every $1 collected in child support to fund social services low income assistance programs? Surely both Judge Foster and Judge Burch will recognize that possibly the State of NC NEEDS Deadbeat fathers in order to fund programs…. AND … we have to ask if this is why fathers generally receive scant visitation awards to maximize collection and federal funding?
  • Judge Foster, are restraining orders handed out like candy in the Guilford County courts in order to maintain the MALE on FEMALE domestic violence agenda and associated funding, and keep lobby organizations happy? Judge Burch? Are both Judges aware that fathers and females in the non-custodial families alienated from their children for up to a year on zero or low evidenced based allegations or false allegations of domestic violence?
  • Judge Burch, are hopeful custodial mothers using the hot button social issue of domestic violence that garners a lot of attention to make false allegations that always wins favor in divorce and child custody proceedings? Judge Foster?

Again, for Guilford County NC non-custodial families, it is not important what Judge Angela Foster or Judge Susan Burch think, what IS important is that we believe non-custodial families KNOW all the issues outlined above DO happen and we cannot emphasize enough that you share this article extensively with fellow non-custodial families in Guilford County and join our MAILING LIST.

Judge Angela Foster, Judge Susan Burch, and Guilford County Non-Custodial Families

The good news in all of this, is that Judges like Angela Foster and Susan Burch are creating a large class of non-custodial families, be it from African American Families, Hispanic Families, or other families who are very frustrated, angry, and tired of the dichotomy. NC Fathers believes because of these demographics, Guilford County non-custodial families are the single largest swing vote in the county who can vote for candidates and Judges that address these issues. Additionally, they can also end careers of those that do not.

Additionally, NC Fathers cannot emphasize enough that it is female members of the non-custodial families who are generally alienated from their children as well when fathers get the bias the family courts have historically dished out. We want to make it very clear to Judge Angela Foster and Judge Susan Burch that we hear from many females of paternity almost hourly now that we are receiving 1700+ daily visits and people are sharing these articles on the wildly popular social networking sites.

If Guilford County non-custodial families have a desire to be equal parents, with equal access instead of a visitor with a federal enforcement PIN number then it is imperative that they start effecting state and federal political races, as well as judicial races.
