Again, we think that Pender County NC non-custodial families are particularly vulnerable to all NC County Department of Social Services Agencies and we are asking non-custodial fathers, paternal grandmothers, step-mothers, paternal aunts and uncles, other family members, and friends of non-custodial families in Pender County NC to join our MAILING LIST so that when it comes time to affect legislation we have the numbers to do just that.

No Legislator, Judge, or administrator at the Pender County Department of Social Services can deny that non-custodial families in NC are of significant and overwhelming numbers, and they realize that these families are frustrated and angry with the agency. Please join our MAILING LIST.

The Pender County Department of Social Services will have you believe that Child Support Enforcement at DHHS is a great program that SIMPLY provides money for children from non-custodial families. The problem is, that enforcement is doing so much more and we think that when Pender County NC non-custodial family members read this information, they will be outraged and ready to make heads roll.

In short, all NC County Department of Social Services agencies have a county enforcement office. And, according to the Social Security Act Title IV Part D Section 458, these county agencies and the State of NC get back TWO dollars for EVERY ONE dollar collected in child support (revenue) that social services can then use to replenish Welfare and other assistance programs.

So NO, never let any Judge, Legislator, or Pender County Department of Social Services staff tell you that child support is all about finances for children. Because the fact is this agency RELIES on your non-custodial status and increased payments to child support to deliver services to the needy.

The Pender County Department of Social Services is involved in Domestic Violence services and programs, and relies on mega state and federal funding to deliver these services. In fact, NC Fathers thinks that NC County Department of Social Services agencies NEEDS for Domestic Violence offenders to exists so that funding will continue to flow.

NC Fathers believes that policies and procedures at the Pender County Department of Social Services were conceived and written with this in mind, and that Pender County NC non-custodial families are a potential target for this.
