Halifax County Department of Social Services, Domestic Violence Funding, and NC Child Support Enforcement

Thankfully, the Halifax County Department of Social Services is involved in responding to the insidious problem of domestic violence. However, do not be fooled into thinking that they are responding to ALL violence, just MALE on FEMALE violence despite recent studies showing that women hit and use aggression just as much as men and that female on female violence in domestic relationships is equal.

No doubt, NC County Department of Social Services agencies get tons of state and federal funding to keep programs and services open. In essence, the Halifax County Department of Social Services NEEDS domestic offenders to continue to get funds.
