Continuing with Social Services Funding, NC Fathers is asking Judge Regina Rodgers Parker if the State of NC is addicted to this federal funding from the Social Security Act Title IV Part D Section 458 which is generating revenue for the State of NC at the rate of $2 for every $1 collected in child support via enforcement. In essence Judge Parker, it seems the State of NC, social services, and the Family Courts NEED non-custodial fathers with little visitation so that they continue making funds available for Welfare recipients. NC Fathers is also asking Judge Parker if this is what is behind scant visitation awards?

Another question we would like to see Judge Regina Rodgers Parker explain to Washington, Hyde, Beaufort, Tyrrell, and Martin County NC paternal grandmothers, step-mothers, and paternal aunts is why are these women having to visit their sons/husbands/nephews in jail when they meet hard financial times, but custodial mothers receive housing, medical, dental, educational, and financial assistance from social services when hard financial times come?

Is Judge Regina Rodgers Parker aware that many agencies and legislators are talking about an “absent father” problem in NC? If so, why are Judges still allowing custodial mothers to move our kids hundreds of miles away from us. How is this helping that pesky absenteeism problem Judge Parker?

Does Judge Regina Rodgers Parker and other Judges in the District and Family Courts think we enjoy being a second class visitor family who should only have 4-5 days a month visitation with our children and be federally enforced so that Medicaid Recipients can enjoy their children? Do You?

If not, we are asking you to join our MAILING LIST and send the message to Judge Parker and legislators in Washington, Hyde, Beaufort, Tyrrell, and Martin County NC that non-custodial families represent about 4.5 million voters in NC, and that we come from ALL ethnic backgrounds. Additionally, we represent many WOMEN in paternal families, and we represent many different political backgrounds.

When is Judge Regina Rodgers going to bring EQUAL Shared Parenting and the division to the NC Family Courts? Better yet, when are non-custodial families in her jurisdiction going to force it using their voting numbers?
