Please, pay special attention to the links pointing to the Social Security Act which is generating money for social services entitlement programs from the amount of child support you pay. NC Fathers believes that the State of NC has a dependency on federal funding to keep NC Social Services Welfare and Low Income Assistance Programs afloat, and therefore NEEDS you to have little visitation with your children, and certainly not equal access, so that you are paying greater child support to  generate greater federal dollars. How do you feel knowing that your alienation for your children, thus paying increased child support, is helping Welfare recipients have a easier time raising their kids? How about you Rep Moore?

NC Fathers is very well aware that child support is a very significant social hot button issue that many legislators in NC do not want to reform because it will appear that they are soft on non-custodial fathers supporting their children. However, Rep Tim Moore should keep in mind that paying child support means that Cleveland County NC fathers, step-mothers, paternal grandparents, and paternal aunts have less time with their children. We believe that it is no longer acceptable to frame this debate from the perspective that the only way to be a good non-custodial family is by paying money to a big government program, and that the best way to be help Cleveland County NC children is by giving them equal access to both parents and extended families where the greatest impact of opportunities and resources can be utilized.

Non-Custodial families are a HUGE voter base and swing vote that Legislators and Judges can not ignore. The problem here is that there is NO lobby group or organization looking out for you. Republican Representative Tim Moore and Cleveland County NC Social Services

Representative Tim Moore needs to hear from Cleveland County NC non-custodial families voters that the 100% immunity social services agencies enjoy is a recipe for abuse, bias, and illegal acts, especially since this organization derives so much funding in making sure that fathers remain non-custodial and paying more and more child support. Surely the Republican Representative from Cleveland County understands that historically social service policies and procedures are aimed at being a services provider for women and children, and we are concerned that this means that this organization deals rather harshly with non-custodial fathers and members of his family. NC Fathers thinks that it is very likely that social services agencies have an incentive to take benign investigations and turn them into serious matters so that they can justify their jobs, programs, and the massive federal money that comes their way when this happens. 1. Rep. Moore is involved in Family Law. He quoted me a rate for a custody hearing, and I’ve seen him in court doing divorces.
