Rutherford County Department of Social Services In NC, Their Need For Child Support Federal Money Contained in the Social Security Act, And To Fund The Domestic Violence Industry

Since the conception of the Federal Child Support Enforcement Programs, this program has had close ties to WELFARE and LOW INCOME ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS, and today that cozy relationship is even more pronounced. According to the Social Security Act, Title IV, Part D, Section 458, ALL US States will receive federal “match money” on the amount of child support they collect. In NC, that figure is one dollar. This means that for every one dollar that is collected in child support and distributed to custodial mothers, the US Federal Government will give back NC Social Services agencies one dollar to help reimburse TANF, Food Stamps, and Other Programs under the Social Services umbrella. The Rutherford County Department of Social Services is no exception.

The problem here for Non-Custodial Families in Rutherford County NC, is that the State of NC has VERY LITTLE money in their budget for Social Services programs and is addicted to this federal program. In short, the State of NC and Social Services NEEDS non-custodial fathers, step-mothers, paternal grandmothers, and paternal aunts and uncles having LESS time with their children so that they pay increased child support, which triggers more federal money.

NC Fathers believes that policies and procedures at NC Department of Social Services agencies have this need in mind, and supervisors at Social Services have this in mind when they direct staff. While it is very disgusting that the State of NC needs for you to have less parenting time and access to your children compared to maternal families, it gets very dangerous when it is a child protective services matter. Did you know that the average front line worker within child protective services in Rutherford County only has a four year degree from an accredited college, but enjoys absolute legislative immunity from prosecution and civil lawsuits brought on them when they make life changing mistakes, or commit bias and abuse on non-custodial families?

In child protective services cases, non-custodial fathers who can lose ALL contact with their children pay substantially more child support, which then increases social services programs federal money which keeps staff employed.

With regards to Domestic Violence programs at the Rutherford County Department of Social Services, again this issue receives massive federal funding, and the amount of federal money is dependent on how well child protective services staff are justifying their job. NC Fathers believes that cases where a problem may exists, but it does not reach the level of domestic violence, that staff will MAKE it such so that they can justify their jobs. Additionally, we believe that NC Social Services agencies absolutely overlook FALSE allegations of Domestic Violence and Sexual misconduct that is all too often alleged by a hopeful custodial mother (which social services provides services for) that use this as a tactical advantage in Family Courts. The Domestic Violence Coalition in NC, Judges, and lobbyists for Social Services NEEDS Domestic Violence to be a problem so that more and more federal money can come in for political campaigns, lobbyists, and jobs at Social Services that revolves around Domestic Violence.

Remember, just a SIMPLE ALLEGATION typical results in a Domestic Violence Restraining Order which alienated the non-custodial family from their children for up to a year, and usually seals the deal for custody with mothers.

NC Fathers is adamant that Rutherford County NC children gain more opportunities and resources when they have two equal parents, and the love of all extended family members. These resources and opportunities greatly overshadow anything a big government program can do for children.

The Rutherford County Department of Social Services in NC, and Non-Custodial Voters in Non-Custodial Families

Directors and Supervisors with Child Protective Services at the Rutherford County Department of Social Services, Judges, and Legislators realize that Rutherford County NC Fathers, Step-Moms, and all other family members in non-custodial families make up a HUGE group of very angry voters from ALL racial backgrounds. They know that if ever united around a common organization and using their influence in numbers and at state and federal elections, non-custodial voters would have a overly significant impact of reform of the Family Courts and with how NC Social Services agencies do business. They know you want equal parentage and access to your children, but it does not fit into the industry where MANY GROUPS make money from the system. However, these groups are very well funded, highly entrenched, and yield significant political power and they drive policy. Until there is a similar lobby looking out for non-custodial families, and those members become very loud and active on this issue, they need not fear making very bad decisions with your lives. We hope WOMEN in non-custodial families will join with non-custodial fathers and help build our organization into one that can start holding Rutherford County Department of Social Services Directors and Supervisors with Child Protective Services accountable.

Again, please remember to join our FACEBOOK PAGE and MAILING LIST, where you will have an opportunity to interact and learn from our organization, as well as other non-custodial families who may have experienced abuse, corruption, and bias at the hands of the Rutherford County Department of Social Services staff.
