Henderson County Department of Social Services and Non-Custodial Families

In case the Director and Staff of the Henderson County Department of Social Services is not aware of what the NC Family Courts and Legislators ask non-custodial families to endure for 18 years, we ask them to click on the BLUE and RED graphic below. For Henderson County non-custodial fathers, step-mothers, paternal grandmothers, and paternal aunts, our goal is to get you to understand your importance as a huge group of voters that can change the social services funding industry, and how child protective services is using 100% complete immunity to abuse, act biased, and commit illegal acts to ensure that this funding is received. Please pay special attention to the Social Security Act, Title IV, Part D, section 458 which we think is legislation keeping you alienated from your minor children to make sure that NC Department of Social Services agencies can help women and children who are using their children to get excessive housing, educational, medical, financial assistance and tax incentives. NC Fathers is very adamant that Social Services needs to justify their jobs, and all too often they create problems to achieve their justification.

Henderson DSS and Domestic Violence

Henderson County Department of Social Services, Child Support Enforcement, Domestic Violence, and Abuse on Non-Custodial Families

Our organization believes that the Director of the Henderson County Department of Social Services, as well as Staff and Supervisors, understand that in NC there is no ability for non-custodial families to get equal parentage and access to their children. And from this, an industry has been setup to generate federal money from the issue of child support and domestic violence.

In looking that the Social Security Act, for every one dollar collected in child support, the State of NC Social Services agencies get back one dollar in federal match money that they can use for programs (and job justification). This means that for every non-custodial father paying $700 a month in child support, he is triggering $700 a month in federal money for the agency. Our issue is that this setup creates dependency on this money by the State of North Carolina, thus creating an environment to keep kids awat from their non-custodial families. Unfortunately, political figures like Judges and Politicians understand this need, and this is why we have laws and judgements being handed down by Judges daily that marginalize Henderson County NC non-custodial families as mere visitors to their children 5 days a month.

NC Fathers believes that NC Social Services agencies understand that children receive more opportunities and resources when they have two equal parents, and both sets of extended families at the table. Unfortunately, this system of federal funding is a huge factor in social services staying afloat.

At NC Social Services agencies, there are a lot of domestic violence programs and staff working on this very serious issue. NC Fathers believes that Domestic Violence in Henderson County is a problem that needs to be addressed. However, this issue is only being framed as a male on female issue, and this sets up fathers in non-custodial families as targets for false allegations that are all too often used as a tactical advantage in the family courts. If you look at the latest figures on domestic violence, you will see that statistics show that women hit men at the same rates as men hit women, and that domestic violence is the LGBT communities happens at the same rate as heterosexual domestic violence. But you don’t hear much about women hitting men, or women hitting women do you? The reason is that a lot of politics is centered around male on female violence only, and this fits an agenda by the NC Domestic Violence Coalition. In short, if we just focus on male on female violence, more fathers will lose visitation rights to their children, thereby increasing child support and federal money for social services. Our organization believes that the Henderson County Department of Social Services, staff, supervisors, and child protective services turns their backs on false allegations and woman on male domestic violence so that funding for women and children stays intact.

Child Support and Abuse and Bias

Henderson County Department of Social Services and NC Non-Custodial Family Voters

NC Fathers believes that the Henderson County Department of Social Services agency knows that there are a tremendous number of non-custodial family voters not only in Henderson County NC, but across the State of NC. And indeed, this is true. Given the divorce rate, rate at which parents are creating children outside wedlock, and the rate at which the NC Family Courts are creating marginalized non-custodial fathers, step-parents, paternal grandmothers, and paternal aunts and uncles, we believe that non-custodial families are just under half of the voting base in NC. And, we come from ALL political affiliations, racial and ethnic background, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Additionally, it is important to note that WOMEN in paternal families suffer just as much when the Henderson County Department of Social Services agencies use their immunity to commit abuse, bias, and illegal acts so that they have money for programs and jobs.

Our organization feels that the minute that ALL non-custodial family members unite around these issues and starts putting pressure on Judges and Politicians, we will see a massive reform of the biased Family Courts and Social Services agencies that are only concerned about non-custodial mothers and children. Our organization believes that the best approach to helping Henderson County children is by strengthening BOTH parents for the greater good of children. Unfortunately, nobody at Social Services or the Courts are thinking this way.

As a non-custodial family, we hope that you will join our MAILING LIST and FACEBOOK PAGE where you will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate with other families so that we can build a massive lobby that hold Judges and Politicians accountable. And, one of the best ways to achieve this is using sites like Twitter and Facebook to bring this message to a larger groups of families. With that said, we hope you will share this article on the Henderson County Department of Social Services and Child Protective Services abuse and bias.
