Judge Stanley Allen, Judge Frederick Wilkins Jr – Rockingham County Courts

Judge Stanley Allen, Judge Frederick Wilkins JrDid Judge Frederick Wilkins Jr or Judge Stanley Allen of the Rockingham County NC District and Family Court decide your child custody case and now you find yourself part of a non-custodial family? After leaving District Court as a non-custodial father, step-mother, paternal grandmother, or other family member, did you wonder how you were going to provide emotional support, psychological support, opportunities, and resources for your young loved ones 5 days a month? Do you think that Judge (Stan) Stanley Allen or Judge Frederick Wilkins Jr sees your worth to your children more from the perspective of how much money you pay a big government enforcement agency, instead of your worth as equals compared to maternal families? Did you know that 85% of all Rockingham County NC Family Court matters are decided in favor of mothers, despite Judges, Lawyers, and Politicians in NC telling us that there is NO presumption or favor in the District Courts? NC Fathers wants to remind Judge Stanley (Stan) Allen, Judge Frederick Wilkins Jr, other Judges in the Rockingham County District and Family Courts, and their political parties that non-custodial families are more than just a family who should be marginalized in the kids lives for the sake of replenishing money for Welfare and Low Income Assistance programs (discussed shortly). These families resent Judges allowing custodial mothers the opportunity to move their kids hundreds of miles away from the non-custodial family. These families resent you jailing their sons/husbands/brothers for inability to pay child support when you know that custodial mothers are getting increasing amounts of educational, housing, job, medical, and financial assistance to make the same ends meet. Judge Stanley Allen and Judge Frederick Wilkins Jr should hear from Rockingham County NC non-custodial families that they are going bankrupt hiring private attorneys at $5000 per incident when custodial mothers are given free child support attorneys.

Roughly half of custodial mothers today have male children who will one day be pushed to the margins of their kids lives if they experience a divorce and have children. Where do you think these non-custodial grandmothers (who will also be marginalized as well) will stand then? With Equally Shared Parenting?

Furthermore, we want to remind both Judges from Rockingham County NC that Judges across NC are creating SEVEN new non-custodial families per day in EVERY county, and that this is an incredible number of voters. What happens when we reach these voters across NC and educate them on the industry of the Family Courts where lawyers, mediators, psychologists, and other benefit financially when parents fight?

Family Court and Child Support

Undoubtedly, Judge Wilkins and Judge Stan Allen will point out that the presumption for equally shared parenting is dangerous for parents in conflict, but our assertion is that giving one parent total control, access to resources, and more time is exacerbating the dangerous nature of divorce and child custody.

Is Judge Frederick Wilkins Jr and Judge Stanley Allen perpetuating the existence of a large number of “absent fathers” in Rockingham County as proof that mothers are best capable to take care of children? What about adoptions?

NC Fathers is asking Rockingham County non-custodial families to click on the red and blue graphic below to see a list we compiled that clearly outlines bias in the NC District and Family Courts. Please pay special attention to the Title IV-D program contained in the Social Security Act that allows the federal government to send back federal money to the State of NC in the amount of what they collect in child support so that TANF, Food Stamps, and other social services programs can be funded. Our immediate question to Judge Allen and Judge Wilkins is how are non-custodial families supposed to have equal parentage and access to their children if the State of NC is dependent on this federal money? Or, is that the point?
