Judge Grogan, is the funding of Welfare and other Public Assistance programs more important than the opportunities and resources Rockingham County NC non-custodial families offer when they have greater access to their children? NC Fathers has concerns that Judge James Grogan and NC Lawyers see the District and Family Courts as a means to greater financial rewards when two parents fight for 18 years. We document this here quite effectively. The average custody battle costs $15,000 per parent, and we surmise that these parents fight upwards of three battles in 18 years. Judge Grogan, this equates to $90,000 that could help put a child through college and be a nice down payment on a home. Additionally, NC Fathers has concerns that the major division between parents in the NC Family Courts, where one parent is awarded a different level of parentage and control over the other, is leading to an increase in fear, apprehension, and anxiety which exacerbates the possibility for domestic violence.

Family Court and Child Support

Here is the bottom line for Rockingham County NC non-custodial families, there are large special interest groups that have a seat at the table with Politicians and Judges, and who have an interest and agenda for advancing custodial mothers. Until there is a equally influential group representing you, the major division and parental warfare waged by Judges will continue. And, we suspect Judge James Grogan knows this.
