Gailya Paliga – NC National Organization For Women President and Paternal Families

Gailya PaligaGailya Paliga is the current president (2012) of the NC National Organization For Women which is clearly a organization that advocates on behalf of women in NC. NC Fathers is an organization of NC Non-custodial families who seek reform in the NC Family Courts and with Social Services agencies for the presumption of equally shared parenting, and to stop the funding of Welfare and Low Income assistance programs via non-custodial parents. Our GOAL is stated here, and you can support our grassroots organization by joining our MAILING LIST and FACEBOOK PAGE. Our statement on Women’s Rights is clear, NC Fathers believes in absolute equality for all women in everything we as humans experience on earth. This includes equal opportunity in education, healthcare, career, and earning potential. Unfortunately, there is one single area where we have to draw the line in supporting Gailya Paliga and the NC National Organization For Women, and that is the area of Family Law and Equally Shared Parenting. In many places on the global Internet, the National Organization For Women has strongly come out against any type of equal parentage for fathers and children which is confusing from an organization built on equality. From our perspective, it appears that National NOW, and most likely NC NOW, see fathers as mere payment providers of child support to their children. If our assertion is incorrect, we are happy to hear from Gailya Paliga and other members of the NC based National Organization For Women.

Gailya Paliga - NC NOW President

Women

In short, this article is going to focus on how we believe that the NC Organization For Women and their president is hurting many women who live in paternal families. These women include step-mothers, paternal grandmothers, aunts, and female children in paternal families that love their step-brothers and sisters. Additionally, it is important for Gailya Paliga to realize that HALF of custodial mothers in NC will one day be marginalized and hurt by your “Women Centered Only” policies that have so much control over the Family Courts in NC when their SONS are denied equal parentage and access to his kids. Simply put, this is a lot of women who are being hurt by your organization.

Roughly half of custodial mothers today have male children who will one day be pushed to the margins of their kids lives if they experience a divorce and have children. Where do you think these non-custodial grandmothers (who will also be marginalized as well) will stand then? With Equally Shared Parenting?

Gailya Paliga and women

If you are a woman in a NC Non-custodial family, we invite you to click on the red and blue graphic below to get a reminder of what the NC Courts and Women centered organizations ask you to live with daily. As Step-Mother or Grandmother, do you believe that your presence, love, support, and guidance is any less important than that of the custodial mother or maternal family? One thing is VERY clear from feminist groups like the National Organization For Women, they have NO use for your sons, husbands, brothers, and fathers that you love so much when it comes to being an equal parent.

In fact, our organization believes that NC NOW is largely responsible for holding Judges and Legislators hostage with their political power and why there is such a dichotomy in the family courts. And, this will never stop until women in paternal families stand up to Gailya Paliga and ask her to stop the war of fathers in the family courts which by proxy hurts so many women.

Gailya Paliga, NC National Organization For Women and Equality? Really?

As an organization made up of mostly of non-custodial related females in paternal families, we have to take issue with NC NOW and their stand for equality, because it is clear that leaders in this feminist organization want nothing to do with equality when it comes to family law. And, as we stated above, for every father that is denied equal parentage and access to his children, there are usually 2-3 women that get hit as well.

NC Fathers isn’t even going to try and figure out why this organization has gone astray in trying to reach equality, because in this area, it is clear that they are trying to reach equality at the demise of the other gender without thinking about collateral damage on women that refuse to hate their husbands, sons, fathers, and brothers. Or, see them as serial domestic violence offenders and deadbeats. Women in paternal families know VERY clearly that the majority of fathers are good parents, who love their kids, and who are systematically denied the ability to equally parent after a divorce.  And, they want nothing to do with the agenda of the NC National Organization For Women when it comes to Family Law.

NC Fathers stands ready to hear from Gailya Paliga on this issue, as well as working together to bring about equality in the NC Family Courts so that children can benefit from natural resources from BOTH parents and extended family members. And, as readers and supporters of our blog, we ask that you extensively share this article on Gailya Paliga with other women in paternal related families who are tonight on their knees wondering why they have been alienated from their young loved ones.
