Rep Chuck McGrady – Republican in Henderson County – Must Read

Representative Chuck McGradyRepublican Representative Chuck McGrady of Henderson County NC is an Attorney and Summer Camp Director who serves on the House Judiciary Subcommittee A within the NC General Assembly. NC Fathers is making it very clear to Representative McGrady that he represents a lot of Henderson County NC non-custodial fathers, step-mothers, paternal grandmothers, and paternal aunts who matter in kids lives. Our organization believes that we should not have to remind the distinguished Representative of this fact, but for decades the NC Legislature and House Judiciary Members have written laws that essentially marginalize these family members as visitors who only need 4-5 days a month with their children, and who must pay a big government agency money to continue this relationship. NC Fathers is an organization of non-custodial FAMILIES who believe it is time to reform the NC Family Courts, Social Services Agencies, and Politicians for the presumption of equally shared parenting for NC and Henderson County children. In short, we are sending the NC General Assembly and Representative Chuck McGrady the message that it is time for Judges and Politicians to strengthen BOTH parents and extended family members, who bring far greater resources and opportunities for children than social services and a big government agency ever will. If you are reading this as a Henderson County non-custodial FAMILY members, we ask that you review OUR GOALS, join our MAILING LIST, and FACEBOOK PAGE so that we can build a massive organization of voters in NC who hold Politicians and Judges accountable when they continue the current system of parental warfare and divisiveness that is in no way the best interest of children. Help us send this message to the NC General Assembly today.

NC Fathers also wants to make it very clear that this article on Representative McGrady is in no way designed to get him to understand our position, as the legislature has had decades to do this and haven’t. Our belief is that the current system is about money, power, and votes which the current social services system and family court feeds. This article is for Representative McGrady’s constituents in Henderson County NC non-custodial families (fathers, step-moms, grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and others) who KNOW the system is broken and favors custodial parents. Furthermore, our belief is that the only way to change the system is when non-custodial families from all ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic backgrounds, and political affiliation unite with women in paternal families (who also get devastated by the current system) to form a massive block of voters. It should also be noted that we are initially suspicious of Representative McGrady given that he is a NC Lawyer.

Representative Chuck McGrady and NC Non-Custodial Families

In case Republican Representative Chuck McGrady has not had first hand experience as a family member in a non-custodial family, we encourage him (or legislative assistants) to click on the RED and BLUE graphic below to get a better understand what Henderson County NC non-custodial families endure in the NC Courts. NC Fathers asks that you pay special attention to the data pointing to the Social Security Act, Title IV, Part D, section 458 as we are about to discuss this legislation and how it is responsible for the system that NEEDS you to be alienated from your children so that the State of NC can receive federal funding for social services programs.

Republican Representative Chuck McGrady, Henderson County NC Child Support Enforcement, and Non-Custodial Families

NC Fathers believes that the combination of the NC Bar Association not supporting equally shared parenting, the funding of Social Services via Henderson County non-custodial families using the Social Security Act, other 3rd party profiteers who supply software, marketing,  and services to child support enforcement, politics, and special interest groups who ALL benefit either financially or politically constitutes an industry that has no interest in seeing you have equal parentage and access to your children. NC Fathers wants to make it very clear to Representative McGrady that it is particularly disgusting that Family Court lawyers in this state are making HUGE amounts of money ($7000 retainers every 6 months ring a bell?) when parents fight for 18 years, and they are instructed to fight for clients they don’t believe should have equally shared parenting.

Representative Chuck McGrady should also not be surprised to know that Henderson County NC non-custodial families will be infuriated to know that their child support efforts is funding Welfare and Low Income Assistance programs, and that it is this setup that prevents them from having meaningful relationships with their minor family members.

County

Republican Representative Chuck McGrady should not be alarmed that Henderson County NC non-custodial families, via their child support efforts, are funding companies like PSI here in NC who profit financially off non-custodial families not being ALLOWED to have equal parentage of their children.

There are a LOT of people, groups, and special interest who are profiting from two parents fighting for 18 years, and one side of a child’s family being marginalized. Help us send Representative McGrady the message that this is disgusting, and it is the responsibility of the NC House Judiciary to fix it.

Representative Chuck McGrady and Henderson County NC Non-Custodial Family Dynamics and Statistics

Representative McGrady is surely aware of the special interest groups and lobbyist in NC who have input around the issues we discuss. The problem for Henderson County NC non-custodial families is that there is NO special interest group or lobby in NC representing you, therefore you are and will continue to get the short end of the stick when future laws are considered. However, NC Fathers believes that when this organization is established, non-custodial families will bring an interesting perspective to the issues. First, as stated earlier, if NC non-custodial families would ever unite around a organized group, and start using their influence in Local, Judicial, State, and Federal elections, then they would be the SINGLE LARGEST SWING VOTE IN THE UNITED STATES and we can prove it. First, for evert father in NC who is labeled as non-custodial, there are at least three women in the paternal family who are equally devastated. This includes step-mothers, paternal grandmothers, and paternal aunts. Therefore, framing this from a man vs. woman perspective is not feasible. We hope that Representative Chuck McGrady is not relying on the large “Womens Rights” organization, because we are happy to provide MANY women in our families who are hurting. Secondly, Non-Custodial families come from ALL ethnic backgrounds. Third, Non-Custodial families come from every single socioeconomic status. And finally, we come from Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian, and Tea Party backgrounds.

Representative McGrady should immediately recognize the significance of this united group.

Are you ready to build this group so that you can have equal parents, access, and influence ovcer your minor children?
